Cornell Cooperative Extension $ 197,000

For safety repairs and facility upgrades for Cutler Botanic Gardens.  

 

Earlville Opera House $55,500

For matching cultural funding for Broome County through the New York State Council on the Arts Statewide Community Regrants Program.  

 

Endwell League of Community Action $3,500

To purchase new coats for the under-privileged children from the Maine Endwell CSD.  

 

Friends of Kirkwood Community $105,000

Toward installation of an all-inclusive play space in Kirkwood Veterans River Park in Kirkwood.  

 

Meals on Wheels of Western Broome $40,000

For kitchen modernization project, including asbestos abatement, installation of new floor, and replacement of broken cook range.  

 

Roberson Science & Museum $10,000

Toward the purchase of a new front-loading Raku Kiln and providing a weekend workshop.  

 

Samaritan Counseling Center $150,000

For facility enhancements to the Main Street building and to renovate the house located at 2 South Knight.  

 

Southern Tier Zoological Society $103,500

The Nature Plan and Learning Initiative: Phase 1 includes an education master plan for all zoo programing and conceptual plan for outdoor walking trail exhibits.
